Hope for Spooky Times
Hi there,
Two quick things:
1. I just wanted to encourage you with a promise from God today
to lift your spirits so you’re not haunted by all of the fear and
uncertainty that’s spooking people around the world:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love
and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV).
Are you afraid? Then go to God boldly for courage.
Do you feel powerless? Then accept God’s Strength.
Are you worried? Then realize God is your Supply & Surplus.
God is not powerless or weak, he’s not indifferent, and his
blessings don’t rise or fall with the economies of the nations.
With all of the chaos in the world right now, this is a time for
God’s people to shine like the noon-day sun and allow their
lives to glow with the burning flame of his presence.
Hang in there. Don’t give up. Don’t quit, because we worship a
God who prevails.
2. I’ve received many, many emails about the live video broadcast
I did on Saturday morning.
I didn’t tell you about it until the last minute because of technological
difficulties. So, it was a “test run” for me and the group.
But for those of you who joined us, I pray you received a blessing.
You’ll be happy to hear that I’ll be doing many more of these
because they’re engaging and fun!
We talked about forgiveness—how to stop beating yourself up
and let go of the past. We shared some great stuff. Here’s the

Remember, God is with you today and He’s promised to never leave you.
Trust him with all your heart and go where he’s leading.
