New You New Year

Rowing harder doesn’t help if the boat is headed in the wrong direction.

~ Kenichi Ohmae, business coach

Hey There, Lynell here again.

As we begin a new decade I wanted to write a quick post to encourage you.

If you feel like you’ve been rowing enthusiastically in the wrong direction then please know that you are only one choice away from a better life.

You CAN turn things around in 2010.

If you’ve been driven by the tyranny of the “external” living a desperate life of “what-if’s, hope-so’s, and maybe’s” then here’s the big lesson as we start 2010:

Nothing Changes until I do.

But If you’ve tried and failed, failed and tried, then here’s what you need to know about failure:

Failure is only a test result.

It’s not your last failure that defines you it’s your next choice.

With this in mind, I’ll leave you with this promise from Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,” (NIV).

What a great promise!

As you continue your journey in this new decade, may God bless you with abundant peace, hope and life.

Onward and Upward,

Lynell
